Sarkodie makes another HISTORY; wins his first BET Hip Hop Award

Sarkodie has been announced winner of BET’s Best International Flow act at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards.

Nominees in the category included Nigerian rapper; Falz from Nigeria, Ghetts from UK, Kalash from France, Little Simz from UK, Nasty C from South  Africa and Canada’s, Tory Lanez

Sarkodie in his acceptance speech dedicated the award to his daughter, Adalyn Owusu Addo (Titi), and used the opportunity to Ghana God and his fans.

“I just want to say thank you to the Almighty God. To family, this one is for my lil girl Titi…. I think Africa has always had it and it is about that time. This year is the Year of Return and I will urge each and every one of you here to take a trip back home.”

The 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards was held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Georgia, United States.
